Expert Auto Glass Repair is based in downtown Tampa, but you won't need to bring the car to us. Our techs drive out with the glass and the tools, whether the car is in a driveway in Brandon, a condo garage in St. Pete or a truck yard in Gibsonton.
Most of our work is in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco, and we take Miami jobs too. Every job starts with your VIN, so the glass that shows up fits your car, sensors and all.
Most jobs take about an hour at your home or job. Here's what we handle.
New glass matched to your VIN, set in fresh urethane, with the molding and any sensors moved over.
A resin fill for chips smaller than a quarter. It keeps the break from spreading and usually takes under half an hour.
Lane keeping and automatic braking cameras reset after a new windshield, on site for most makes.
Shattered door glass replaced, with the broken pieces vacuumed out of the door, seats and floor.
Rear windows replaced with the defroster reconnected and tested.
Motorhome windshields, semis, work vans and pickups, replaced where they're parked.

These come straight from what customers mention in their Google reviews.

Your VIN tells us which windshield your car takes, including cameras, sensors and heating elements.
A tech meets you at home or at work. All we need is a flat spot with room to open both front doors.
Cameras get recalibrated when the car needs it. Then the urethane needs about an hour before you drive.
If you have comprehensive coverage, Florida Statute 627.7288 says your insurer pays for a damaged windshield with no deductible. Florida is one of only a few states with a rule like that, so a new windshield usually costs you nothing out of pocket.
Two more rules since 2023: glass shops can't offer gifts, cash or rebates for filing a claim, and newer policies don't allow an assignment of benefits, so the claim stays in your hands. We'll help you file it and take care of the glass side.
“Excellent, speedy, professional service... I have an RV with an over hang and it was not a problem for this technician.”
“Carlo and Gabriel did an excellent job replacing my 4 Runner's windshield. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable and polite.”
“I needed windshield replaced fast in my Semi and Jacquie was great. The tech, jimmy, even came out on a Sunday.”

If it's smaller than a quarter, has no long cracks running from it and isn't right in front of the driver, it can usually be filled. Send a photo with your quote request and we'll tell you.
About an hour for most cars, plus time for the urethane to set before you drive. A camera calibration adds a little more.
If there's a camera mounted behind the windshield, almost always. Most cars built in the last several years have one for lane keeping or automatic braking. We check by VIN when you book.
Light rain is fine if there's a garage, carport or covered spot. In a downpour with nowhere covered, we'll move the appointment, because the frame has to stay dry while the urethane goes on.
Usually. It costs far less than a windshield, most insurers cover it, and it stops a small break from turning into a crack that needs new glass.
Yes. We'll quote the job up front, and you can decide whether to file a claim or pay out of pocket.
Often. Store-bought resin can trap air in the break, so we'll look at it and tell you whether a professional fill will hold or the windshield should be replaced.
Call us. We guarantee 100% satisfaction, and if something isn't right, like a leak or new wind noise, we'll come back and fix it.
Yes, as long as the lot allows it and we can park next to your car. Leave the keys where we can get them and we'll call you when it's done.
Your year, make and model, the VIN if you have it, and a photo of the damage. Tell us about any cameras, a rain sensor or a heads-up display, since those change which glass we order.
